SASSA Will Take Services to Fernie Community
Tuesday, August 27, 2024
The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie 2 Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services on the community.
SASSA is going to be rendering companies for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In an announcement, the agency explained it truly is alarmed concerning the significant number of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The aim on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a significant number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This is certainly mainly sassa because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no absolutely functional office dedicated to service the area each day. The assistance issue made for intervention activities a large inflow of probable beneficiaries, which makes it tough for the Workplace to attend to all people who stop by a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional assets to permit the servicing of all consumers and boost access to Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
